Bought for myself - an adult who doesn't really need anything more than 12 ounces (well, except maybe water, and when the bottle's empty it's time to get up and move). Replaced the plastic lid with a steel lid and is perfect for hot or cold drinks. I hate the painted logo, so I took a green kitchen towel and rubbed it along the grain of the brushed steel to remove it. It's easier to clean than the Zojirushi mugs I used to carry around, and there's no color to rub off. It doesn't leak, doesn't burn hands, and keeps drinks warm for as long as I need it - about an hour and a half when it's closed.
