I was looking for a new set of glasses but decided on these because I fell in love with the color and I knew how much colder my drinks stayed in my stainless steel cup with the lid. Due to the cup design and short straw with lid they are much more stable than our tall glasses that are wider at the top than the base, but I don't think they would fit in most cup holders. We still use our glasses for iced tea because we are creatures of habit but I we like these for adult beverages, soda, juice, etc.
