Review on POWERTEC 71105 Butterfly Decorative Woodworking by Jonathan Devarapalli

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Works well but needs extra floor space to hold on countertop.

They match the inserts I made on the live edge table. I have two issues with how we treat them: 1) There needs to be more plastic on the outside of the butterfly to hold it. I ended up using hot glue to stick it to my work surfaces. I assembled the table from Ref Oak and made walnut inserts. If I followed the pattern, everything was fine. 2) They are a little scratched after repeated use. I guess I'll have to clean them up a bit at some point if the router can get stuck on a scratch or at least slow down or make me line twitch. It's not very good for making insoles as you just have to tilt around the edge.

Cons
  • High Price
