AppleRound 8.5-inch Dodgeball Playground Balls, Pack of 4 Balls with 1 Pump, Official Size for Dodge Ball, Handball, Camps and Schools (4 Balls and 1 Pump)These balls looked small to me, but my 4th grade daughter said these are the size they use at her school. (I guess my 70 & 80s-era ball reference is dated.) These are somewhat smaller and lighter (in both color and weight) than what I think of as the classic rubber kickball, and nicely textured. The included pump works great & I love that it comes with extra needles. I got this set to have a new play ball at home and to donate the rest to the local school, which can always use more balls. This is holding up well for indoor play in a concrete basement. They don't seem quite as rugged to me as the classic kickballs I remember, but the bounce is fantastic! And at under 4 bucks a ball, a nice deal, too.
