I bought this oxygen booster formula but even after using it I'm still not sure if it's actually a detergent or a detergent booster? I don't have a carpet cleaner anyway, but our dark beige mid-pile carpet had too many animal stains. Unfortunately I cannot offer any before and after photos. The patches were 2 years old to maybe 6 months old, they were drying out. It was too embarrassing when someone walked through the bedroom which had all the stains needed to get to the bathroom. So I mixed this booster solution with a scoop of all-natural powder (Thayer Laundry Powder) in very hot water. Using a 12-inch bristle brush bought for this purpose, I wet each spot and just leaned over to brush each spot. Not only are the dirty looking stains and blemishes gone, the rug looks fantastic too. If you have shampoo I can only imagine how easy and super clean your carpets will be with the Bissell OXYgen Boost formula.
