Received the straightener this week and was finally able to use it yesterday. I love it. I have long wavy hair and have always had to buy a very expensive flat iron. I buy straighteners in the store, I often have to run through my hair several times. This hair straightener is very similar to the CHI I once had and loved. After going through 2 of them the cost was too much to justify. For the price I feel like I stole the quality it offers. The rotating cable also made work easier. Another benefit the CHI doesn't have is the heat switch. And for the first time in my life, I didn't have to turn the heat up all the way to get the job done. My daughter has the same hair type as me and although I never "straighten" her hair, she may have a small head. The flat iron did not frizz or damage my hair. I feel like my hair looks healthy and smooth. For the price and quality, this is definitely the best straightener I've ever had. I would definitely recommend it to a friend. I should add that my mother-in-law is a licensed cosmetologist, so I've tried many high-end products. I just gave up my last straightener because it works so much better. My "expensive" copy I just gave away was several times more expensive than my Ella and took a lot longer to complete. I love it when I can find a hair product that fits my busy schedule and family budget and doesn't compromise on quality. Very satisfied! Excellent purchase!
