My wife gave me one of these and it ended up in a drawer.
When I finally tried it I couldn't believe how great it was. I've given them to all the kids now and they all love it. It's a prickly contraption that's not easy to understand. A quick twist and its tip is lodged in a piece of beef or pork. It's not for fish. Anything "rugged" would benefit from using this in place of tongs or a spatula. It turns the steak with ease and sears effortlessly. Try it and you'll never go back to tongs, forks and spatulas.
