Review on LIENS Adjustable Height Laptop Cooling Pad with Two 5.1 Inches Fans, 2 USB Ports – Suitable for 12-15.6 Inch Laptops, White by Ken Kowal

My laptop gets hot especially when editing videos and I was hoping this was the solution. I like that there is a metal grille at the top of the design to keep the laptop well ventilated and I also like that the stand has multiple height stops to position the laptop at an angle. What I don't like is that the fans don't let much air through, especially when the top is flat (not sloping) - because there aren't good air gaps around the edges. I think that's why they're advertised as quiet because the fans don't move much air even when running at full blast. Since my laptop is usually placed horizontally (rather than at an angle), this just doesn't provide enough air movement to keep my laptop cool. Yes it helps some but not as well as I was hoping. Most of the construction is lightweight plastic, so that can be both an advantage and a disadvantage (if you need to carry it around, it's light; if you need something permanent, it might not hold up).
