It cooled my super hot Acer Swift 15" in about 3 minutes. I watch a lot of You Tube and my laptop was very hot all the time. So I read the reviews and they were sold at a very good price and the reviews prepared me for low power consumption but this thing is totally legit. My laptop gets hot especially when editing videos and I was hoping this was the solution. I like that there is a metal grille at the top of the design to keep the laptop well ventilated and I also like that the stand has multiple height stops to position the laptop at an angle. What I don't like is that the fans don't let much air through, especially when the top is flat (not sloping) - because there aren't good air gaps around the edges.
