They seemed like crap from the start, but less than a year later.

This is junk. I bought them for my boat a year ago as an extra pair in the center post so I can listen to music while cruising. From the start they sounded like crap, but in less than a year one of them completely broke and isn't working. I contacted the company and they said they won't guarantee it I have to contact the manufacturer so I don't buy from Revain these sellers should guarantee their products and not push your son to the manufacturer it's just a Vicious circle Don't waste your time on this product, look elsewhere.
