I bought this for my best friend for a birthday present. He has bulging and dislocated disc in his back. I showed him how to use it I was also in a car accident years ago and I feel like it did give me relief. I like the fact that it also has a heater built in it. And you can use it on your neck or lower back. Very good product it did have a strange smell like chemically
