I have tried several Andonstar microscopes and the AD207 has been the best so far. I ordered this (AD208) thinking it was an upgraded version of the AD207 but it wasn't. The AD208's image quality is inferior to the AD207 and more akin to the cheaper microscopes $99 and under. Although the screen is larger (8.5 inches vs. 7 inches on the AD207), there's really no advantage to that larger screen. The 7 inch screen is ideal for any task. So it's not a bad microscope but for the same price you can get the AD207 which has a much better image quality.
