Just upgraded to this projector from a Vamvo L4200 mini projector. I like it better. I use this projector at home and usually use Dell projectors at work and Optoma at church. Far from being a $3,000 or $5,000 projector, the Vamvo L6200 cannot be compared to these professional projectors. But given that the Vamvo costs well under $300, that's pretty decent if you can control the lighting in the room. Compared to the L4200: It's noticeably brighter: I find this useful in a semi-dark room, while the L4200 really needs to be in a dark room to be useful. Too bad it was bright enough to use in a fully lit room. The image is visible in a fully lit room, but there's not enough contrast and detail - perhaps it would be good with a very high-contrast display. same size image. It's Full HD 1080p, which is great compared to the L4200's 720p. It's larger in size and weight (it's not super compact). However, this gives it a larger lens with better resolution and quality. Like the L4200, it heats up quickly and shuts down immediately (no fan - not sure if that's a good thing or not, but it should shorten the lifespan of the device). I would think). Connecting to my computer was intuitive and easy to set up. Keystone correction is much easier than the L4200. The fan is much louder than the L4200's fan. Loud enough to be a bit disturbing in a quiet room. When focusing, it's impossible to put the lens cap on at most focal lengths - the lens protrudes from the body (I often make a lens cap because it's easier than finding the mute button on my remote or in PowerPoint.) The lens may not it performs well at some focus distances and you can cover it, but that wasn't one of the scenarios I tried. There is no tripod mount on the underside of this projector like the L4200. But this is normal, since it is too heavy for most tripods anyway. It comes with a fairly short power cord. With a projector, the cable should be longer, as it is often a problem to find a socket in the right place.
