I thought this thing wasn't heavy enough at first and kinda deformed, but it was the fact that even though im 145lbs and 44 years old, i couldn't move my feet in time to miss the rope, after a 15 minutes of practice on and off, its easy to use and gets easier, I still cant jump rope for more than 2 minutes at a time, but im increasing and would love to get like a 10 minute (straight) workout maybe 3 times a day to start. its kewl, just keep at it. i cant see it breaking or anything any time soon
