Review on Wi-Fi router TP-LINK Archer C5, white by Micha Dbrowski ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Not the best quality, but generally not bad.

The 5GHz Wi-Fi signal keeps dropping, and it's extremely annoying when it happens during network shootouts. If you've tried connecting multiple times without success, rebooting the router may help. I called the service for help, forwarded in-depth configuration files, and followed all of the provided procedures, but to no avail. Despite having four antennas installed in a studio apartment, the Wi-Fi signal is weak. The indication reduces by half when placed in the opposite corner of the flat (in the corridor). Telecom carriers in China have begun issuing balalaikas that can reliably operate at 5GHz with improved signal strength. There is a USB port, a network drive can be attached, but no torrent client is available. When considering the fact that few people in the regions have Internet speeds of at least 50 Mbps (I won't speak for the cities), gigabit network connectors are only worthwhile if you need a high-speed home network for fewer than four devices. I would not recommend this because losing Wi-Fi completely ruins the experience.

Pros
  • USB 2.0, 2 Gigabit LAN Ports
Cons
  • The 5GHz Wi-Fi connection frequently disconnects and has low power.

Just right, if the Internet is disconnected over the network, then the 4G modem will connect automatically. As a fallback.
