Review on πŸ”Œ Carter P74213 Performance In-Line Electric Fuel Pump by Matthew Harris

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Do you know what type of fuel pump you have

Aside from the fact that my truck saw quite a bit of road salt and was a little crusty, the installation was almost painless. Aside from having to cut one of the old screws off the old one, everything worked fine. Just make sure you know what pump you need, whether it's an in-tank pump or a pump mounted on the driver's side of the unit. After doing some research, everything on my 2001 Dodge 2500 5.9L Cummins was tank mounted, but it was actually on the block. If you don't know, just chirp the launcher and see if you can hear it and where it is when it's not dead. Otherwise it worked perfectly for the bearing swap.

Pros
  • Fuel System
Cons
  • No Automatic
