I bought this item because I have carpal tunnel syndrome in both hands and sometimes find it difficult to open bottles and cans. The product worked fine and I was pretty happy with it until today it shut down. I tried to open a can of cheese, the head of the can opened but the product continued and didn't stop. The only way I could stop this was by removing the batteries. I change the batteries but it keeps getting tighter and tighter, it won't come off so I can use it again on another can. And of course it's too late for me to return the goods now, so I'll buy another can opener, but not from this company.
