So far I am very satisfied with this product. I only bought it to keep pacifiers in the cradle. We adhered to the AAP safe sleep guidelines as babies, and now that we're toddlers I find it more comfortable to have "extra" items in the crib. I installed it around the base of the crib and threaded it through the rails. So the bottom sits on the base of the crib and rises about 3 inches or so above the mattress. Since all I really need is to keep the pacifiers inside, I'm not worried about my toddler trying to escape with them because they aren't big enough or strong enough to carry that much weight. It slides down, I tested it with my toddler when he was awake. The fabric is breathable but that's why I flipped it through the tails to make sure it would be harder to pull it too far into the bed to cause problems if it fell apart while the baby was sleeping.
