This is not your typical chipboard and paper wood grain computer desk. Assembly doesn't take a few hours, just attach the legs and you're done. There are no holes or shelves to clutter up the work surface. It's just a nice flat surface. The legs and the frame are made of tubular steel. Not paper thin and not too heavy. Most importantly, the legs are spring loaded due to the way the legs fold. The preload prevents the table from rocking during operation and the leveling feet keep the table firmly in place on the floor without tipping over. This makes it feel like a much heavier desk while not being too heavy to move easily or fold up and store in a closet when not in use.
