Purchased for Eastern European country. Works well so far and is a real improvement over cell phone reception. While the phone can only pick up unstable 4G in some spots, this phone has fairly reliable reception. There is no manual configuration with the mobile phone provider. Just insert a SIM card and everything will be set up automatically. The admin page allows you to change Wi-Fi settings, admin user and password, and send and receive SMS. There is no way to run USSD commands, which is normal in my case. The modem has a mini-USB input, but it doesn't really seem like 5V is enough to power it. outlet required
