Review on ๐ŸŽฎ The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask 3D - Unveiling the Epic Remake! by Jack Malloy

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Seamless - as it should be in any update or remake

Majora's Mask 3d is the final version of the game. Of all the Zelda games, this has always been my favorite (yes, even more so than Ocarina of Time, just a tiny bit). Despite its many flaws (like the awful save system or the clumsy time travel) I still loved it, perhaps beyond reason. I've played it from start to finish many times, and yet I couldn't resist buying this updated version - and I'm glad I did. Any changes made to the game are definitely for the better. Saving has become less painful, time travel has become easier and more convenient, and the changed game content really makes sense. The Troupe Leader's Mask (originally called the Circus Leader's Mask) now has a useful function, in addition to assisting with an already simple quest that was already complete in-game at the time. The Great Fairy in the Mountain and the Swamp have swapped places, which makes sense from both a gameplay and aesthetic point of view. Small differences in a small handful of locations for characters and quests make the story and gameplay more understandable (moving an invisible guard who gives you a stone mask, moving the bank and then expanding the Clockwork City, etc.). Some of the added dialogue, like the new Tatl and the Bomber jokes, is not only very helpful, but often quite funny! (No spoilers, but get a bottle of moldy milk and listen to Tatl scold you about it. It's worth it, I promise). New content, like the squad leader's mask and fishing pits side quest mentioned above, is low key and ties in well with the rest of the game. even more. If you were hesitant about Majora's Mask's clunky save mechanics and time limit, everything has been simplified and fixed in this version. If you hated Majora's Mask before, try this version. It will be worth your time.
