Somehow I misunderstood the line "Remove protective film AFTER". I thought it would be like transfer tape with the film removed before application. Not correct! The protective film is on the outside of the film and you only remove it AFTER you have ironed the tape in place and allowed it to cool. The tape appears to have melted into the fabric, glued very well and the film peeled off with no problem. I put some tape on the end to make it easier without tinkering and the tape peeled off right away. The band appears to be as bright as commercially available reflective bands and when worn like this I am very satisfied. It seems to bond much better than most iron-on products.
