Finally. Reliable and affordable hotspot. Ideal for home use.

First impression (08/06/20). Pros: Very, very, very strong 2.4GHz signal (impressed! All IoT connectivity issues and old "n" Wi-Fi TVs throughout the house solved) and strong 5G GHz signal. Easy setting. Does not depend on the "cloud" or controllers. Updated to current firmware version 3.7.4 - quick and easy. Wireless Security Options: WPA2, WPA3, WPA2/WPA3 - Personal or Enterprise respectively. Simply select 2,4 or 5 or both for each of the 8 possible SSIDs. Very stable connection. I switched to a UniFi FlexHD, which has only caused me problems so far and I am satisfied so far. There is NO fancy interface here, but there are no problems. 5G speed (tested on iPhone XSMax, AC not AX yet) is 10% better and 2.4G is at least 2-3 times stronger. Neutral: Received hardware version 1, not 2 which is already out. Also, due to chipset limitations, there's no 160MHz wide channel for the 5GHz radio, and the LEDs can't be dimmed, only turned on or off (btw, see the LED menu in Tools - not easy to find. Personally, this was not a problem for me, but definitely would be better) to have this option). It also doesn't come with a PoE+ injector, and since I don't have a PoE switch yet, I had to buy the injector separately for $30. Cons: not yet. I will update if so.
