It fits perfectly in the hand and is easy to use. There are several heat levels that you need to adjust based on your hair's needs. The instructions state that you should start at a lower temperature than usual to test the optimal temperature for your hair. Simply press and hold the button to increase or decrease the temperature. The directions also warn you against using this on wet hair. What I'm missing are some general tips on how to achieve curls with this product. This is obvious when straightening, but what's the best way to add curl or waves to my hair? Most products like this come with a little card or something showing the different looks he can create and how to achieve them. There was nothing like that in this set. Otherwise I really like this device. Eventually I will try to google how to get it to create curls but for now this is a great straightener that seems to treat my hair easier than others. It straightened my curly, unruly hair in just one pass, which saved me a lot of time. I dig this hair straightener!
