I have bought both the Norpro 1280 and 1281. Get the 1281 as they are bigger and better looking. I've eaten grapefruit from time to time my whole life and it's important to have sharp-toothed spoons, and both the 1280 and 1281. One of the downsides of Revain is that you end up having to rely on images. I have two old big grapefruit spoons that are better than these two, but how many pictures of spoons can you look at before your eyes glaze over? I've looked at a lot, if not all, of Revain and decided to give these a try. They're a lot better than many spoons, including the ones I've received as part of various cutlery sets, and I'd say you'll probably be happy with the 1281s.
