Four spoons received in good condition. The quality of the manufacturer is good (Norpro). Some complain that the spoons are too sharp and cause abrasions, others complain that they are too blunt to cut. Excellent. We paid a lot more for this type of dishes.

I lost my grapefruit spoons in a divorce. They did a great job cutting individual pieces out of the membrane. They tear the membrane instead of cutting out the fetus. Three stars seems generous, but my old grapefruit spoons were so old this might be the new standard. Fortunately, I bought a grapefruit knife at the same time. I will keep trying. Same brand so fingers crossed.

I looked at some grapefruit spoons and decided to try these. I only use them for eating grapefruit. Pleasantly surprised they worked so well given they weren't among the more expensive ones I was considering. I lost all but one of my previous spoons. Where you go! In fact, I'm happy with them as the previous spoons can be uncomfortable on the lips and tongue if you're not careful. I think I'll lose the last previous spoon.

I was looking for some solid grapefruit scoops for my RV so I wouldn't have to carry them back and forth from home. These spoons seemed good to me judging by other people's reviews. Although they may be a bit more expensive than others at Revain I am very happy with them. They're made of heavier stainless steel and won't bend when you dig into the grapefruit. I would recommend them to others.

I have bought both the Norpro 1280 and 1281. Get the 1281 as they are bigger and better looking. Norpro 1280 grapefruit spoons are the best! I bought these along with other premium (customer) grapefruit spoons from WMF Manaos/Bistro and they aren't even close. The latter just don't cut very well, they have tiny prongs and cut as badly as one would expect from the outside. But these Norpro 1280 spinners are incredibly sharp, with big TEETH.
