It will be a while before I have my own sewing and quilting room. I'm using my kitchen table at the moment and when I need to iron the seams on quilted pieces I have to get my big ironing board out of the closet and arrange it and then put it away when I'm done. . With this ironing blanket, that is no longer part of my everyday life. I just unfold the blanket and place it on the edge of the kitchen table and I'm good to go. I love the convenience and it works just as well as an ironing board for my purposes. Actually better because I no longer have to fight with a huge ironing board. So glad I found this and am considering buying one for my daughter who actually has a washer and dryer that she could iron small items on.
