I was cleaning my tank and after a few days it was turning muddy green, finally did some research and they suggested that the EcoBio block would help balance the phosphates. The price seemed high but they say it lasts 1.5 to 2 years so it's worth it. The instructions say it takes a few weeks to see a difference, but I saw it within a week. I also added some real plants to improve the condition of the water. I am convinced of this product. Here are before and after photos about a week apart.
