Update February 2020 The company emailed me offering support. I was able to connect the new scanner to both my iPhone 11 and Windows 10 PC using the cable and USB dongle that came with it. Not exactly sure why it works now or did I do something wrong with the first scanner. This scanner successfully pairs and "re-pairs" with the iPhone even after I've used it on my Windows 10 PC. There have been several IOS updates in the last 6 weeks so I'm not sure if this is having an impact now. My iPhone is now running on iOS 13.3.1. The company's support was very good. They actively contacted me and checked several times. Communication was very good but this is via email which reaches me around 1:00am Central Time. My iPhone 11 is fine and works as expected. I was also able to scan in Windows 10 using a USB cable. I connected the device to the dongle and it worked flawlessly with Windows 10 for a few days. As soon as I tried using it again with Bluetooth, nothing worked. The device enters Bluetooth mode but cannot connect successfully. I've restarted everything many times, reset the device as instructed, and tried reconnecting the bluetooth on each iteration - the device never showed up as a bluetooth device in the iPhone. I even tried using multiple devices but it never showed up. It continued to work (after a reset) with the USB cable and dongle, but no longer via Bluetooth. I have studied everything in detail in the user manual, but without success. I was about to contact support but saw the only option was to email them - this really disappointed me - I'm expecting a phone number for a device less than 3 days old and having problems - I didn't feel like there was anything I could get from email support other than repeating what's already in the manual. Unfortunately I sent the device back. He worked on Bluetooth for me for three days and did everything as expected. I wish I could keep it - the size is great and the price was good.
