A great tool to light anything in almost any condition. I've never tried this type of electric lighter before, but for camping and general fire lighting it works like lightning! It only takes a few seconds to light a candle or piece of paper. I used it on a recent camping trip and it lit our stoves and fuel blocks with no problems. It may take a little longer to light the blocks, but no longer than a regular match, and the negative impact of the street breeze does not affect its operation. The battery is designed for repeated use and can work for several weeks if necessary. With the supplied cable, it is charged quickly and easily from any USB port. I noticed that the user manual mentions that a Type-C USB cable is included, but it comes with a standard micro-USB for charging. The arc itself makes a very quiet hiss when activated. You can use it continuously for about 10 seconds, after which it will turn off, requiring you to press the button again if your situation requires it. The long, flexible tip is also a bonus for penetrating deeper into hard-to-reach areas, such as. B. lighting a wood stove. Although the lighting is usually very effective, the tip can become fouled and prevent it from producing a normal spark. It's always a good idea to check the electrode for dirt and wipe it clean with a soft cloth if necessary.
