Review on ๐Ÿ’พ Kingston KVR16LS11/8 8GB 1600MHz DDR3L (PC3-12800) 1.35V SODIMM Laptop Memory - Non-ECC CL11, Intel Compatible by Curtis Sherman

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Easy to install, works great - laptp is faster now (I'll add an SSD as OS drive in the meantime)

Comment; I haven't measured the impact of this memory module on battery life (charging time) as I didn't measure like I did with the smaller RAM and the other brand module it replaced, but at least it didn't shorten the life of the batteries, so 5 starts there . This memory went into my wife's entry-level laptop, Office and Google Classroom, an entry-level non-touchscreen laptop, so I'm giving it 5 runs to avoid the false negative impression. Installation is as simple as your device will allow. This means that in my case I had to remove the entire bottom cover consisting of 15 small screws with a small Phillips screwdriver, remove the installed memory module and insert that, being careful to avoid static discharge on your memory module and the rest of the calculator. Share, easy. In my case, just press on the side brackets to release the first one, gently pull it out, carefully insert the new module (it only comes in one position) until the side brackets click into place, and finally insert the Put the bottom cover back on and screw it tight. with your screws. Some laptops only have a small cover that needs to be removed to access the storage location. The module was immediately recognized by the BIOS and Windows 10 (64-bit) and I am attaching an image of the resulting memory module and a couple of screenshots to show you.
