Review on 📷 Immerse in 360° with the Ricoh Theta M15 Spherical Panorama Camera (Blue) by Devin Girard

I am very impressed with this product. In fairness, the resolution isn't super, but it's quite decent. I knew this from reading reviews and watching sample YouTube videos before purchasing. I was concerned that the video and photo samples I saw seemed to show seam lines and lighting differences between the two sides of the camera. I've only taken a few dozen shots so far, but some of them have been indoors, outdoors, in low light, and at an indoor stadium. So far I haven't seen any seams or lighting issues. I was also a bit disappointed with the 3 minute video time limit. Again, I knew that before I bought the camera, so I can't really complain. However, after just a few weeks, the company released a new firmware update that increased video length from 3 minutes to 5 minutes and internal storage from 40 minutes to 1 hour. It was quite a pleasant surprise for me :). They also announced that they will be releasing an updated app for my android phone very soon which will add many new features. The Apple version is already out. All in all, this is the best spherical 360 camera currently available, even coming close to this price point. The next best camera will be a 6 Go Pro camera array which will cost you around $2400 to set up and setting up, using and especially editing and combining 6 different video segments is a very complex process that requires a computer and a lot of time is required. This camera does all the work between it and the computer application for you. Once you download it, you can publish and share it with your friends or the whole world. I am sure that in about 3 years this camera will seem archaic for the foreseeable future. down the road it's as good as it gets for less than $2,000
