This part was easy enough. After installation I sent the board via .

I bought these about a year ago and installed them on my 18" Woodmaster planer. Vibration, sizing isn't very easy and it occasionally loses sizing. The first thing I did when it arrived was making an aluminum profile bracket to mount on my planer. This part was pretty easy. After assembly, I sent the board through the planner and used their calibration mode and readhead mount to take readings. Not a very accurate method, but it kind of came close. There is a manual calibration mode that allows you to read a caliper value from a workpiece and enter it into the reading. It worked better. The buttons were finicky and going into calibration mode was frustrating a few times. calibration mode. Sometimes when the device was turned off, the calibration mode popped up and the previous calibration was reset. So back to calibration. Even when the planer is running, sometimes the batteries fail and the device restarts. A little foam to keep the batteries in place and all was fine for a while. In addition, the play on the scale is so great that sometimes the readings do not change even when adjusting half a turn on the planer. Removing the read head and removing liquid from the scan head resulted in better readings. Even after all the work with this sensor and the need to recalibrate every few weeks, I don't trust this product. I still spend a lot of time using a manual caliper to check the results, so it's not really a time saver. Even in the best condition, the sensor only achieves about +- 0.02 - with the highest accuracy. 03 inch More often it's worse. Then the other day the ads turned on but the ads didn't change. I checked and changed the batteries, but the readings still haven't changed. The cable looks good, I removed all the accumulated dust and nothing. I would never recommend this product for those who are picky about their work and don't like their tools to be intrusive. I don't trust this product. to ensure reliable measurements.
