Review on ghd Max and Mini Stylers: Professional Hair Straighteners with 1/2 inch Mini & 2 inch Max Ceramic Flat Irons by Detra Carter

I'm a male so admittedly I'm not very familiar with the world of straighteners. My sister gave me her ghd IV classic which I used until recently when the power cord broke. So I updated to that. The Gold Series is an improvement in several ways, and the 1/2 inch model is perfect for shorter hairstyles. The 1/2 inch plates are ideal for closer contact with the scalp for smoother movement in high visibility areas like the front of the head. That's the main reason I bought this smaller model and now it's definitely easier for me to get the result I want. The heat-up time is also shorter, but this applies to the entire Gold series. some other changes that I really appreciate. Annoying IV beeps have been tweaked a bit. When you flip the switch, the power-up sound becomes much quieter. Unfortunately, the "done" beeps are still very loud. But combined with the quick heat-up time, this straightener really helps me to do my hair early in the morning without waking up my roommate with any noise or smell. ghd also claims that the platters are smoother and this improves performance. previous user so can't comment on that, but my Go ld is definitely easier/faster to use than intended. Well, the protective plate that comes with the Gold series. It is easy to put on after use and is ventilated. It also holds the iron together making it easier/safer to transport. I think this is actually my favorite supplement. Now I don't have to worry about where to put the iron after using it. One thing ghd and all other manufacturers need to fix: power cords. you suck They feel cheap, stiff, stretchy and get tangled easily. Instead, wrap them in shrink wrap or fabric, or take Apple's flex cables as a guide. Also, I should note that the Prime-eligible seller I bought it from may have forgotten to mention that the product is not brand new. It may have been unused but when I received it the package was still unsealed and the contents were moving freely inside. Not quite like the state of finding something completely new. But I only paid $120 for it, so I'm satisfied.
