This hydraulic motor mount worked great on my 2011 Ford Escape 3.0L V6. Easy to install and instantly eliminated the annoying steering vibrations that came from the engine idling. The OEM mount went from hydraulic to "hard" when the fluid ran out (110,000 miles). Very typical of "softer" OEM mounts, regardless of car company. A quick fix to an annoying problem. And an easy DIY project that takes about an hour. There are many videos on YouTube showing how to replace the bracket, but it's pretty intuitive. 1 main bolt, 3 for bracket and 3 for mounting. Voila! 6 month update: mount failed. Guarantee for 6 months. Currently 6 1/2 months old and the mount has become "flat". This is liquid filled vibration isolation. Even when parked, the steering wheel still vibrated at idle. You get what you pay for. So far I've had no luck with aftermarket engine mounts for both my Escapes and Honda Accords. My suggestion is to bite the bullet and buy OEM motor mounts. All products from China (and aren't most car parts made in China now?) that contain rubber on tie rod ends and ball joints, control arms and engine mounts use defective rubber. The DEA obviously knows that rubber is junk given the lame guarantee it gives.
