Review on πŸ”§ Dewalt DCD791D2 Compact Li-Ion Brushless Drill by Patrick Reid

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Works like any Dewalt product.

This is a half replacement for the 18V DEWALT DCD760KL purchased in 2013. acceptable time. So the 760 was primarily intended for use in caravans to unscrew stabilizers. However, I also use it in conjunction with the 791 to have a drill in one and use the other for screwdriving. NOW back to the 792D2 review. Batteries last a lot longer between charges, and that's very noticeable. Another very noticeable element is the torque. The 792 definitely has more torque. Other nice things about the 792 compared to the 760 is that it's noticeably lighter and smaller to fit into tight spaces. The light is better and I like the idea that it stays on for a few seconds after releasing the trigger and the fact that you can activate it for a few seconds just by pulling the trigger (helps to find the bolt). or drilling site in the dark). All in all this is a fantastic drill and well worth the money if you want a good reliable battery powered drill. But I will say that a Dewalt product has never let me down. Only suggestion: it would be nice if the carry case was a bit bigger with room for drills, screwdriver bits etc. This case does have a small area for some screwdriver bits, but bigger would be nice.
