Review on ASUS ROG Pugio Optical Gaming Mouse: Ambidextrous Design, Customizable Buttons, High Precision Sensor, and Aura Sync RGB Lighting with ROG Armoury II by Hayden Chew ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

The product is of good quality, there is only one minor defect.

In general, the mouse is what I wanted and its shortcomings (which I personally attribute to the youth of the design) are offset by its pluses. And for the money that I managed to take it (6500) - this is the best hybrid in its price category. Its pros: 1. Collapsible body. This makes the mouse much easier to clean. 2. Removable microswitches. One of the defining features because of which I took this pepelats, since the right mikrik fell apart in the last mouse, I decided to take a closer look at the solutions from ASUS, so that in case of a similar problem, simply replace the broken mikrik with tweezers without complete disassembly and soldering. 3. Comfortable shape. Nothing to say, classic soap box. 4. Unusual design. It is due to the translucency of the case, an interesting arrangement of the backlight and, of course, a beautiful wedge-shaped gap between the backlight arc and the contact surface of the case. 5. Convenient software. At first, it was very interesting for me to delve into the mouse settings by assigning-reassigning its side keys to various functions, including macros that are written for it without any difficulties. 6. Hybrid. Got cons: 1. Due to the loose fit of the back cover to the main body, a rather unpleasant backlash appears when the mouse is taken in the palm of your hand. (I solved the problem by lining the racks of the lid with electrical tape (black)) 2. Uneven backlight when transfused with all the colors of the rainbow: the lower arc of the backlight consists of three sectors, and when moving from red to green, bypassing yellow, the left sector gives off orange for a long time, while others switched to a new color. 3. Small backlash PCM. 4. Soft base mics. After mice with a powerful click and a rather tight press, it was unusual to push the button with almost the mass of a finger. 5. Lots of light gaps through the slots in the case and the edges of the logo. 6. Low landing, as a result of which any stray grain of sand on your rug will definitely pass through the body.
