This is a great all in one photo/video pack. It feels plasticky and isn't as strong and durable as a DSLR, but at the same time it's very light and compact. It's like a point-and-shoot camera, but with a lot more manual controls. And that's a good thing, because it's ultra-portable. In my opinion the GH 2 is better than the new GH 3 in what I mainly use it for: video. Sure, the GH 3 has a better build, better screen, longer battery life and even better photos with higher ISOs, but Panasonic has taken a step back when it comes to video playback. The GH 3 has a tighter crop factor, reducing the images captured on screen. And the overhaul of the GH 3's inner workings robbed it of the slick, cinematic quality that people loved so much. Now it's like any other video capable DSLR on the market. As for the full-size audio jack improvement on the GH 3, you can easily get an adapter for the GH 2's smaller port for around $5.
