I really liked this product. When researching this product I was very impressed with its performance and especially the lines that cannot be erased. I saw a 3.5 star customer rating and decided to purchase anyway, hoping my experience would be better than others'. There was an error. The robot didn't connect to my home WiFi. I even have two different wifi hotspots and none of them could connect. I called Neato support and although they tried to do a few things they were unable to resolve the issue. Neato support kept blaming my ISP or at least the default settings used by my ISP. The problem with this argument is that my home is, in a way, a smart home. I have smart tv. I have multiple Sonos smart speakers. I have 5 or 6 other "smart" devices connected to my home wifi. Everything works fine. Everything just connects with no problems. My home network was fantastic with all other devices. If Neato Robot can't connect, it's Neato's fault. I reject any other argument. In fact, Neato support has admitted to me that they know they have connectivity issues and are feverishly developing new, improved connectivity software that isn't fully developed yet. This product appears to be an experimental beta. For some of you this may work and become a big vacuum. But for $400 this product just has to work. It should be easy. It must be of consistent quality. I still love these features, so I'll keep an eye on Neato and see if future versions can fix their connectivity issues. But this product was a 1 star product return for me.
