This collar is my 4th collar and the only one that fits my dog. It just wasn't responding to other systems, or the systems were fuzzy when they were actually working. Putting it on once or twice a week while she is out in the garden is enough for me to remind her that continuous barking is not allowed. It also helped her not to disturb the neighbors. Now she tends to only bark when it's worth it. For example, when a cat enters the garden. Cats are always worthwhile, even if "it" is a good Garmin shock. The battery lasts incredibly long. I've only charged the collar twice since I bought it in October. My dog is a 60 pound Smooth Retriever/Black and Tan Coonhound mix who loves chasing balls, barking for the sound of her own voice, and pretending she can take a cat and win. I recommend this product.
