I rarely write reviews but this grinder is worth it. I had an issue with a store-bought spice blend that had too much salt and large seeds that got stuck in my teeth. I sifted the salt and just put the seeds in the grinder (btw the large capacity is 1/2 cup, and that's just the recommended "max" fill line. There's actually more room). In just 20 SECONDS it completely crushed the seeds into the SMALLEST powder. The inner shell is closed neatly with an inner lid that keeps everything inside - no dust gets into the rest of the device. The fully transparent top makes it easy to see the sanding progress so you can stop it at the coarseness you want. The cord is a good length too (42 inches) - and you can neatly wrap excess cord around the spindle, which is hidden under the base. For very fine powder, the inner bowl is slightly larger. There is only a tiny gap under the blades for clearance - just as it should be. So keeping it at a slight angle helps. Perfection. I wouldn't waste your time comparing it to other models. This is the one.
