I love our Hanukkah/Christmas/Chinese New Year tree. We have Dreidel, Santa who climbs the Empire State Building, some cool ones from China, a Day of the Dead, stuff our kids made, a handicapped area, our treetop is an angel named Marvin - so when I got this fortune cookie saw and read the descriptions from one of the reviewers about how shiny and shiny it is, I had to order. The fortune cookie is so pretty light gold and so shiny and the Chinese takeaway box I was afraid would be a bit racist but it isn't. It was beautiful. AND THEN my husband decides, as so often, to tear down the tree NOW. Even with the new jewelry, which looked amazing (and he agreed). I don't know why I agreed to that. We were looking for a small tree with a CNY Christmas tree stand and didn't see anything available. So if you're still awake - the bottom line is - fortune cookies are great for a Christmas tree, Hanukkah tree, Chinese New Year tree, or whatever. You can hang it up. It's good. I just didn't enjoy it for more than a day. But there's always next year, I hope!
