Review on 🌬️ Enhance Air Quality with Motorcraft FP-92 FP92 Cabin Air Filter by Dave Knain

Fits perfectly as expected

Fits perfectly as expected from OEM Motorcraft. Ford could have made the swap a lot easier if they had thought about it. However, this is so. You must have some mechanical skill to replace this filter. You need to lower the glove box and disconnect the shock absorbers and electric positioning cable. From there you need to remove the black trim and on my :Lariat Sport the top carbon fiber accent. Then you basically remove the large black plastic mounting pad. From here you can finally access the filter. Pull out the plastic bracket, discard and replace. Make sure the airflow arrows are pointing correctly, then reinstall everything. Don't forget to restore the electrical connection to the glove box. You have to be very careful with all fairings so you don't damage them (you have to pull really hard to take them off, but too hard and you'll break them). Again, I think the design could be a lot better (but maybe they don't want end users to be able to replace them - built-in complications mean trips to the dealer).
