YHKOMS 9005 (my high beam), YHKOMS H11/H8/H9 (low beam) - review of both 2008 GMC Sierra 2500HD The main reason The reason I bought them was to try to keep the color temperature close to the factory color temperature as both models are very close to standard halogen bulbs with 4300K "Warm White" color temperature. The second reason I went with these and not some of the others is the fanless/heatsink nature. One point of failure is less to worry about (besides the longer lifespan of LEDs in general). Overall I'm pretty happy, installation is easy, the box doesn't hang out at the back, just a nice short cord that seems to hold up. The low beam was close to the actual beam pattern, did a wall fuse test to see if it needed adjustment and it was good. Now the distant light. couldn't be happier, they light up whole fields, the spotlight range isn't super crazy but they're way better than halogens.
