Works as expected. Not quite 'sealed', won't fall out of hands when raining or being submerged in water, keeps kibble 'fresh'. Does not protect against rodents/squirrels. Originally bought to store chicken feed in a chicken coop. Chewed squirrels and/or rodents discarded the "thin" parts of the lid and rim. (Was covered with a tarp during a rainy season and found a chewed up hole. Had to go to metal bins.) Use other covers for furnishings. It works fine there.
