Gamma2 Seal Lid - Pet Food Storage Container Lids - Compatible with 3.5, 5, 6, and 7 Gallon Buckets, White, 4122E Review

We bought these lids for our chicken water buckets. They are amazing! This is much better than opening and closing lids to pour water. It's 100% worth it if you have to climb into buckets a lot. They fit our standard 5 gallon buckets like a glove and caused no problems.

A little tricky to put the ring on, but worth it. I've had a long-standing problem with raccoons and possums getting into cat food and bird seed that I wanted to keep away from metal trash cans, and they soon frustrated my efforts. Screw caps are great for human hands, but not living creatures.

I would have given 5 stars if it wasn't so difficult to install the base ring onto the bucket. I almost returned them because they didn't fit in any bucket I tried. I decided to get aggressive and use a rubber mallet. It seemed to work. Time will tell if the load on the bucket will cause it to rupture.

I bought them on purpose because I wanted good ones and that's what I got. It's very difficult to put them on a bucket if you have weak hands like mine, but when you put them on they don't come loose and become airtight and watertight. Works as expected. Not quite 'sealed', won't fall out of hands when raining or being submerged in water, keeps kibble 'fresh'. Does not protect against rodents/squirrels. Originally bought to store chicken feed in a chicken coop. Chewed squirrels and/or rodents discarded the "thin" parts of the lid and rim. (Was covered with a tarp during a rainy season and found a chewed up hole. Had to go to metal bins.) Use other covers for furnishings. It works fine there.

Ordered 10 capsules. The first delivery consisted of 4 lids packed in individual boxes that would easily fit 4 lids. The next day another 5 capsules were delivered, also in separate boxes. I'm waiting for the delivery of the last cover. "Updated" The order has been completed. These black "pet food" lids appear to be made the same as the white "pet food" lids that I paid a third more for from another seller. I've paired them with $5 dockside cargo buckets to use for storage.

I've bought dozens of them and they never disappoint (except maybe the seals). They are very useful for preventing things from falling out of the bucket and things coming from outside the bucket. I bought these food storage lids. I watched the video to find out why the part that attaches to the rim doesn't separate from the rotating cap. I shared one and struggled with the other two and ended up just putting the lid and rim on the bucket as one. It has to be how it connects. I couldn't find anything about how to separate the 2.
