Bought to light up a souvenir closet, these LED pucks work really well. We chose daylight temperature LEDs (rather than "soft white") for the most realistic rendering of object colors in our office. Each washer is connected back to the junction box, switch and power supply by a separate wire. The lamp housing is made of aluminium, which dissipates a small amount of heat generated. After a few hours, the lamps are only lukewarm. Installation is easy. Simply unscrew the case cover to remove the cover and translucent plastic diffuser. Use the screws provided to attach the bottom half of the cases. Assemble the diffusers and the housing cover. Run the wires (about 6 feet long) to the junction box, plug in the power cords, and you're done.
