Review on K-Edge Gravity Cap Garmin Mount: Effortlessly Secure Your Device for Enhanced Cycling Experience by Kevin Huot

Revainrating 4 out of 5

5-star performance rating. 4 stars. Therefore

Comparable with other ratings. I found the plastic spring tabs that secure the Garmin to the mount a bit loose on my Edge 1030, but my Edge 520 held up pretty well. To fix this, I put thin pieces of styrofoam (1/16th thick or less) behind the tabs. This raises the tabs and helps fix the Garmin better. I also widened the hole just enough to fit an allen wrench while the plastic insert was in place. It is much easier to align the bracket so that it is perpendicular to the bars. Worked great. Rode pretty hard and the edge of the 1030 didn't budge. I also have a 45mm stem. And 1030 sticks out no further than the grate. And my knees don't even come close to touching the Garmin. I think these changes should have been made from the start. Happy with the result.
