Review on 96 Color Set of Blendable Tombow 56149 Dual Brush Pen 🖌️ Art Markers with Desk Stand - Brush and Fine Tip Markers with Stand by Heather Shaw

I was a little skeptical of some reviews that mentioned open/used/dry/worn markers but this was such a good suggestion and these reviews are almost 2 years old old . I decided to try it, fully prepared, I had the opportunity to go through the return process. I was also nervous because it was in the 90's and I was concerned it would affect the markers. My box arrived sealed but with some signs of light storage wear. Definitely warm from the heat but cools down to room temperature quickly. The stand was packed in a separate box in the main box and took a few seconds to assemble. I made all the marks and counted to make sure they were all in place - they were there and the stand has the exact number of slots. Knowing that Tombow have at least 12 new colors not included in this set and will likely continue to make more, it would be nice if they had a few extra slots on the stand. Again, no big deal. I tested the markers with both tips just to see if there were any issues. No one! Every color is as it should be - there are no problems with feathers either. I'm new to the world of markers and did a little research to find an intermediate level article. I am very, very happy with this brand. And the $121 price for this set is a steal considering art stores sell these markers individually for almost $4 each or a set of 10 markers for $27 and if you buy all 10 sets, you really don't get it a complete set and you end up with a few duplicates. I started with 10 piece sets, even for the sale alone I spent over $60 and found I already had only a third of the collection with duplicates. I have returned these kits to craft stores and bought this and 12 new paints from another supplier. I'll definitely be watching for signs of unusual wear and tear, but so far so good. If you're on the fence, give it a try; that worked for me
