I had high expectations but was greatly disappointed.

I've been making some changes to a bathroom to upgrade some featuresthat have begun to look a little outdated. Among those items on my checklist was the lighting. My present fixture is more traditional but I wanted a more contemporary look. This fixture looked like exactly what I wanted and so I had high expectations based on the great reviews almost without exception. It arrived today, and what a huge disappointment. I like the basic design. The quality of the materials and construction, though, are at best modest. The metal is light and almost tinny. But it still might serve the purpose if the light it produced was excellent. I disconnected mine, installed this new one which was an easy install because it is so light weight. I reset my fusebox, turned it on and.where's the light? Before I ordered it I saw one reviewer actually said it was too bright so I never expected this. The lighting is soft and ok if it was only being used as a night light. But how a woman could apply her makeup or a man shave in this light is beyond me. Light is emitted out of the top and bottom of each disc which I liked. There just wasn't nearly enough of it. If you have supporting ceiling lights or just want minimum light for say a guest bathroom or powder room, this might be sufficient. But I was severely disappointed. Both the heft, materials and weak light emitted made this a deal breaker I could not recommend. I was disappointed that I wasted so much time removing my premium heavy fixture with this one only to need to reinstall my old one again. I really wanted to like this fixture but sadly cannot recommend it.

Pros
  • Perfect for a smaller bathroom. Bright lights.
Cons
  • The adjustable arm may make a loud and distracting clicking noise when moved
